学生参与办公室 & 包容 (SEI) at Genesee 社区 College (GCC) fosters innovative and collaborative practices that empower students to feel a sense of belonging, 探索他们的兴趣和激情, 成为全球化世界的领导者. Complimenting the academic mission of the college, SEI integrates student learning through social, extracurricular and co-curricular opportunities; each activity achieving one or more core objectives:

• 休闲: activities supporting socializing and socialization among students, faculty and staff.
• Diversity, Equity, 包容 and 社会 Justice: activities promoting DEI principles, values and advocacy. Enhancing a sense of belonging among students. Fighting against social injustices to promote equity, access, and equality.
• 健康 & 健康: 促进全面健康的活动(一).e.身体上、心理上、精神上等等.)来达到生活的平衡.
• 社区参与: activities promoting engagement in collegiate and personal residential communities; developing and sustaining connections to enhance community goals.
• 全球公民: activities promoting engagement abroad (outside of GCC’s landscape) to develop diplomacy, 文化意识, 能力和谦逊, 欣赏不同的世界观.
• 社会 & 职业发展: activities promoting development in social and professional capacities; preparing students to enter a globalized and competitive labor market.

C的介绍.R.E.A.T.E(创造财富) & Engaging Activities Together, for Everyone) Grant. 学生s can apply for this grant to receive 资金 (up to $300) that will support a program/event or starting a 学生 Interest Group/NEW Club they wish to put on for the campus community. 学生s will meet with 凯利Starchok, 学生活动总监 & 包容, to discuss their application/proposal once it is submitted. 如果获得拨款，东南大学&I office will work with the award recipient to put on their proposed plans. 适用于今天!
